Welcome to my new site!!

Writer: momscoffeenyarnmomscoffeenyarn

This has been along time coming. I am an introvert forcing myself to be extroverted in order to survive life as a mom and wife. Just in case you did not make it to my 'About' page. I am about to be 47 in February, I'm happily married for 25+yrs to my amazing husband Tom. Together we have 3 teenagers, 18.5yrs, 16.5yrs, and & 14yrs of age. As you can see we have along going on with a freshman in college, a junior in high school (and taking college freshman classes), & my youngest starting her freshman year. It has been interesting to say the least. You will just have to wait for another blog as I share different aspects of my journey with teens. ^_~

My 3 teens at Disney Springs

I am retired and have been for 16.5yrs (since my sone was born in 2005). I was laid-off right after I had my son. I was the main income for your family. It was a huge blow to us as now we are a one income family, needing to get medical coverage ASAP with a 2yr and newborn, & well we went from penny pinching to now squeezing blood from a stone to make ends meet.

It was a huge blow to us as now we are a one income family, needing to get medical coverage ASAP with a 2yr and newborn, & well we went from penny pinching to now squeezing blood from a stone to make ends meet. It wound up being a God sent because our son (baby #2) had health issues. I would have been let go anyway for having to care for him. Take him to the urgent care and many doctor appoints. To this day we still have no idea what was wrong. However, a miracle happened when he was 11yrs and he was healed. Eleven years of prayers, rosaries, tears, and sleepless days and he was healed. That is a blog with hope to help parents and give hope when all is hopeless.

Now, 14yrs after moving to Davenport I have learned so much of my own reliance and will to succeed as a parent. I have learned so much as a parent and the mistakes I made I wish I could go back and fix a few. Now, I just do my best with these teens and hope I did screw them up.

In short I hope you enjoy my site, blogs, recipes, coffee, chats, and stuff. I also connected my InstanGram page to see more about the crazy. Plus, links to my Etsy shop for awesome crafting finds. I really home you enjoy this site as I use this as platform to find myself in this new stage of life.

God bless anyone whom made it to the end of this blog.
